A Note from the McKelvie Library
On Friday, September 30th our first "Search Slip" raffle was held! The "Search Slips" are filled out by students when they use the catalog to search for materials they want to check out. The slips are filled out with the title of the book, the author's last name, and the call number. The student then has an opportunity to write his/her name on the back of the Search Slip and enter a monthly raffle! The first raffle winner was Remy Manni from Mrs. Mueller's homeroom. Remy received a $5.00 gift certificate to a local ice cream establishment. Congrats Remy! Another Search Slip raffle will be held on October 31st.

Congratulations also to Ella Navarro who checked out a book with the 5th "Golden Ticket!" Ella received a $5.00 gift card to put towards the purchase of a new book at Barnes & Noble. Happy reading, Ella! There are now 5 more "Golden Tickets" to be found.
