Move-A-Thon Sponsorship

Dear McKelvie Families~

Do you own a business?  Would you want to advertise your business name through sponsorship of the McKelvie Move-A-Thon?  The Move-A-Thon is our school's only fundraiser. It is a lot of fun for our students and brings many parent volunteers to the school for the day.  Sponsorship of the Move-A-Thon can help our school reach its financial goals while also promoting your business name.  Sponsorship information is attached to this email or you can reach out to Jodi Parsons at parsonsj@sau25.net with additional questions.

Chorus: Tuesday OR Thursday 8:00am September-May starting the week of Sept 13th
Chorus meets at 8:00am on Tuesdays for 6th Grade and Thursdays for 5th Grade. Students should arrive in the cafeteria by 7:55am. Mrs. Coughlin will escort the students from the cafeteria to the music room for rehearsal. We have two mandatory concerts a year; one on Dec 10th and one on May 6th.

Students should have a 1” black three ring binder to hold their music. Given CDC suggestions, it is HIGHLY advised that singers wear the singing masks that will be handed out in rehearsal. Students need to bring their binder of music and singing mask to every rehearsal.

Please use this link to register for Chorus at McKelvie.
Email Mrs. Coughlin at coughlinr@sau25.net if you have any questions.

I look forward to seeing everyone soon!

Rebecca Coughlin

Piano Accompanist Needed:

Have you always wanted to find a way to volunteer in the school but wasn’t sure how or your time was limited? The Chorus at McKelvie is looking for a piano accompanist who can accompany the 5th, 6th and Select Choruses at the Winter and Spring Concerts. We meet Tuesday, Thursday and Friday before school. Attending every rehearsal is not mandatory (but we really need you as the concert gets closer.). And, as if being part of these amazing groups wasn’t incentive enough, there is also a stipend and a t-shirt!!

If you are interested, please email Rebecca Coughlin, for more information: coughlinr@sau25.net
