Note from the Nurse's Office
If you have medications in the nurse's office(Inhalers, pills, epi pens), please pick them up prior to the end of school on Weds. 6/15.  You may call Nurse Ruby to make other arrangements, otherwise they will be disposed of at the end of the last day.  If you are a parent of a 5th grader and you have gotten a recent email from Nurse Ruby, please be sure you turn in your child's updated immunizations or valid exemption prior to start of 6th grade.  This is a state requirement if your child turns eleven prior to start of 6th grade.

School Lunch Price Increase - NOTICE
We want to make sure families are aware that we need to increase prices of school lunches for the coming year.  For the 2016-17 school year, elementary lunch will cost $2.65 and middle and high school lunch will cost $3.25.

On behalf of Girl Scout Troop #10986We would like to inform you of the consequences of idling.   1) It wastes gas.  Leaving your car on for 20 minutes a day at parent pick-up wastes 2/3 a gallon of gas each week.   2) It wastes money.   This is approximately $6 a month.   3) The exhaust causes cancer and asthma.  Windows are sometimes open in the warmer months at school and some classes breathe in the exhaust from the cars in line.  4)  The emissions pollute our environment causing additional long-term harm.  Hydrocarbons produce smog and Nitrogen Oxide causes acid rain, which in turn kills trees and pollutes drinking water. Please consider turning off your car when waiting in line.
