Dear McKelvie Families ~
Last week there was a glitch in my email. I have been unable to replicate the problem. As a result, I think it is fixed (wishful thinking?). With that said, if this week’s notes are cut off, click HERE to go to my blog where they are archived each week. Below are this week’s notes:
Jimmy Fund Car Wash
A HUGE thank you to those families who supported our Car Wash last weekend. We raised over $1000.00 that day. For more information regarding the two walking teams click on the team name. Cure ATRT Now & McKelvie Mustangs
Grades & Attendance
Just a reminder that parents can access student grades through the Parent Portal of Power School. Click HERE to login (found on the McKelvie homepage). Both students and parents have accounts. If you cannot access your child’s information, please contact Sharon Goodwin at email@example.com. Teachers update grades every two weeks, but many update weekly and some daily.
From the Library with Mrs. Cote
Another "Golden Ticket" was found! On September 20, 2016, Kyleigh Morris, a 5th grader, found a "Golden Ticket!" This was the 4th ticket found. It was hidden in the pages of a book she selected to checkout. A special reading prize was awarded. There are 6 remaining tickets hidden throughout the books here at the McKelvie Library. Stay tuned to find out when the next one is located!
