Library News:
This week has been very busy in the library! Several classes came for various learning opportunities. These opportunities included learning how to properly cite print and electronic books using the Modern Language Association version 8 (MLA 8), note taking, and book tastings with fiction and nonfiction books. Click HERE to see 6th grade students browsing nonfiction texts to help them explore topics to use as they write a nonfiction essay. After selecting a topic of interest to them, the students then checked out print books and in some cases accessed our online databases. As a concluding activity, the students completed at "long write" to refer to as they continue to research and learn using nonfiction.

This is a friendly reminder that if your child(ren) are participating in the Fisher Cats 2019-2020 Reading Challenge, forms need to be mailed to:

NH Fisher Cats, Attn: Reading Challenge,
1 Line Drive, Manchester, NH 03101

Enjoy the weekend, McKelvie! ~Mrs. Cote
