Dear McKelvie Families ~

TONIGHT is the Faculty Basketball game!  If you enjoy watching grown adults attempt to be athletic, this is your event!  Each year this event is so fun and successful that we have to hold it at Bedford High School.  Doors open at 6pm and the “game” starts at 6:30. Don’t think less of me after you see me play!

From the Library
The library remains a busy place despite the warm weather! We have numerous book clubs coming to use the space to read, discuss, and jot! It has been a true pleasure to check in with them and listen to them read. Many classes have been using the library for resouces to develop a New Google Site that they created with the help of, Susan Cavanaugh, our Technology Integrator. There are classes that have come in to create various types of poetry including blackout poetry and book spine poetry. Click HERE to see an example of book spine poetry. Chess, checkers, Jenga and Connect Four are popular during recess times. As always, the space is used for book shopping! New books are added to our collection on a regular basis and are often highly sought after. Many books do not even hit the shelves before they are requested or checked out by students! Destiny Discover (our search interface) is being highly used.

Click HERE to see Bailey, Miss French's certified emotional support dog, visiting last Friday during recess times. What a treat!

For the month of May, that item is TUNA.  If you are able, please bring in tuna until Friday, June 1st.  We will have a box for donations in the office hallway.  Thank you so much for supporting this very worthy cause, which supports Bedford families.
