5.16.21 Principal Notes

 Dear McKelvie Families~

First off, a BIG THANK YOU to all of our families for helping to make dismissal safer and more manageable for everyone.  Not having cars stack on Liberty Hill and County Roads as well as parents not coming until 3:15 has made all the difference!

I would also like to thank the PTG and all of the parents for making Staff Appreciation Week so awesome for our staff!  Once again this community outdid itself, and we greatly appreciated all you did for us this week!  Thank you!

SAS testing went really well last week, and it was wonderful having most of our fully remote kids back in the building!  Make ups will continue this week, in addition to the 5th grade Science SAS test Wednesday morning.

Vaccine Clinic Message from Superintendent Fournier:
The Bedford School District is working with our partners at Rite Aid to host a vaccination clinic for students ages 12 and up.  This clinic will be completely voluntary and is not required.  Parents are encouraged to speak with their PCP regarding the administration of the Pfizer vaccine for their child.

Please click HERE to express interest.  If there is enough interest, we will host a clinic. Please respond no later than MONDAY, MAY 17th at NOON.

For this clinic, families will need to bring a copy of their insurance information.  For families without health insurance, Rite Aid has the ability to assist and will be able to provide that information to you.

We will send out a follow up email next week with all of the required information.

Many Thanks,

Mike (Superintendent)
