One of these book birthdays is the sequel to our READ Project book. The sequel is titled The Doughnut King by Jessie Janowitz.

The annual Great Stone Face Tea took place this year on Friday. This tea is where the GSF winner is announced along with the 20 new nominees for 2019-2020. The 2019 Great Stone Face winner statewide that students in grades 4 through 6 selected as their favorite is... The Trail by Meika Hashimoto! This was also the book that the students at McKelvie voted as their favorite! Be sure to check it out!
