12/16/16

Dear McKelvie Families ~

A refreshing way to start the day!  Wow - welcome to the deep freeze…

Today we had our annual Toys for Tots assembly.  As usual, the students were absolutely wonderful.  A BIG thank you to all of our families and staff who collected over 600 new, unwrapped gifts.  The Marines were very happy to take those off our hands today.  Also - our appreciation to Lieutenant Colonel Robinson (AKA Mr. Robinson - Grade 6 Teacher) for speaking to the student body about the Marines and their role in the Toys for Tots campaign.  Click HERE for a picture of Mr. Robinson in his uniform.

In Previous News…

Earbud Purchase Option
With the introduction of 1:1 Chromebooks this year, students were asked to bring in a pair of inexpensive headphones/earbuds to leave at school. Because many students have forgotten to bring them in, they will now have an option to purchase a pair of inexpensive earbuds (similar in quality to what you would purchase on a plane) from the library for $1.
